Constitution of the University of Worcester's History Society

The aims of our society are set out by our constitution.

i) Provide a network for academic support for all members of the society

ii) Provide a forum for intellectual debate and discussion on topics relevant and of interest to the members of the society

iii) Promote the study of the subject of history within and among all students, faculty and the community of the University of Worcester

iv) Provide an inclusive, varied and comprehensive arena for socialising and entertainment

v) Promote, enable access and participation for members, to an interesting, varied and relevant field programme. Including, but not limited to, museums, exhibitions, conferences, presentations and sites of historical interest or significance

vi) Provide elections for the Three main positions of the society; Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, in semester two of the University year, for the following year of study

Through these aims we hope to make the University of Worcester’s History Society interesting, inclusive and accessible for members.
