This is the SU page for the History Society

We are a society for people who share a love of history. We welcome all people into our society whether you study the subject at the University or whether you just enjoy history. We have a wide variety of interests within our society and hope to cater for all people who enjoy history.

Although we are a new society we have already had a successful trip to London (as you can see from our photo) and have links with a few of the key historical places in Worcester, including the Commandery and Cathedral.

This semester (Feb-May 2011), we have plans to visit the Commandery and the Black Country Museum and have a talk at the Worcester County Council Records Office. We have many plans for the following year, just haven't got enough time to fit it all in this semester!

We plan to get together on socials at least once a month so that we can all catch up. Our society truly is inclusive for anyone who loves history, we provide help and support for all our members if they ask for it.
