Welcome from your Sabbatical Team

Rich Dean (Vice President Student Experience), Sam Lewis (President) and Helen Anglin (Vice President Education) look froward to welcoming you to Worcester!

They are here to represent you and your ideas to the University, keep you up to date with developments and opportunities and share their wealth of knowledge about being a student with you!

Make sure you look out for them during Freshers' Week, but before then take a look at their welcome messages to you.

Sam Lewis - President
Hey everyone! My name is Sam Lewis and I am President of the Students’ Union. My role is to be at the forefront of campaigning for change to better the student experience. I am here to represent the views of students to the University, to make sure that students are being heard! If you see me around the University, come and chat to me and tell me about how it is going at University. I will also be actively going out and talking to students on a range of subjects so don’t be scared to tell me what you REALLY think about the University and the Students’ Union!

I always have an open door to any student to help with matters throughout the year. Don’t be afraid to ask me any questions about University life or what is happening at the University. I am here to support and represent you throughout the year whilst at University.
Feel free to contact me about anything, I will try my best to help!

Helen Anglin - Vice President Education
Hey guys, my name is Helen Anglin and I’m your Vice President Education this year! I am here to ensure you have the best possible educational experience during your time here at Worcester. Feel free to pop into my office anytime for a chat, I am always here to listen to your needs and concerns and do my best to try and resolve them.

Make sure you check out the Students' Union website regularly as myself and the other officers will be updating you on what we’re up to and letting you know what events are happening within the Union. Watch out for us about Campus too as we always want to know your views on what’s happening in your University.

Rich Dean - Vice President Student Experience
Hi Guys n Gals, my name is Richard Dean, or Deano, I am your Vice President Student Experience. I will be looking after everything outside of your course which includes welfare and participation in our sports clubs and societies. So if you’re interested in joining a society or are wanting to start one up, then let me know. Also if you have a problem with your accommodation or anything that isn’t to do with your course you can come to me and I can help resolve the issue. I always keep an open door for people to drop by and see me so don’t be afraid to come round knocking; we are your representatives so we always want to hear from you. What I would say to do in Freshers Week, being a 3 year veteran, is get yourself out there, everyone is in the same boat so just getting chatting to people. Before you come to Uni if you have any questions for me, get in touch!
