Overview

Pensa is the campus ministry arm of the Church of Pentecost, with a strong focus on Christ-based doctrine, prayer, and fellowship. Our mission is ‘create Messengers’ and ‘raise world changers with the Christ factor’.

This society has influenced more than 24 universities acorss the nation and continues to influence more as new students who are willing and determined to open branches move accross the UK.

PensaWorcester was created in February 2024 after months of prayers and planning with PensaUK and The University of Worcester Student Union's Staff. We are grateful for this opportunity to give students with similar values, interests and goals to have more options on when and which Christian Union to attend. There is Christian Union on Tuesdays and then there is PensaWorcester on Thursdays. We welcome everyone and anyone.

Our aim is to create a safe and friendly enviornment where university students can fellowship, mentor one another and share their experiences in this journey called university.

Moving away from what we know as home, our countries, our comfort and safe places, can be quite scary and full of surprises. As we step into adulthood, meet new people from different backgrowunds and all walks of life, values and ideologies; we would like for students to come together and share these values. Having a community with people with similar interests, willingness to progress and increase and deeped their relationship with God is essential in the growth of every individual. At PensaWorcester, there is no discrimination, criticism or obligation to do what makes you uncomfortable. We welcome you with open hands and we encourage everyone to get active and engage with the activities and events. Volunteering to help out in any way possible would be a blessing, whether it is serving teas and coffes, setting up tables, cleaning up, leading worship and taking over when someone is not able to attend, picking up people or sharing leaflets around the campuses. Every little helps, like Tesco says!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Ephesians 4:16

From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

Matthew 18:20

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

Come and Join us and let us fellowship and grow in the Spirit together while navitating University life!
