Description

The Environmental and Conservation Society was set up for 2010-11 and is now in it's second year of running.

The society exists to widen awareness of, and increase discussion on environmental and conservation issues, support active engagement in conservation and research activities by it's members and to generally promote and support environmental sustainability.

What We Do

The society has a meeting twice a month and regular socials. At the meetings we have guest speakers from organisations which talk to us about environmental issues and provide us with volunteer opportunities e.g. Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. As a society we also discuss and arrange activities we can do together, manage the university allotments and help run events for the university such as Go Green Week and Fair Trade.
