The waiting is over - you can vote now in this year's elections.  We've extended the voting period this year and polls will close at 4pm on Wednesday 14th March.  Go to your SOLE page to read the manifestos and cast your votes now! most important event of the Students' Union calendar will soon be upon us!

What are the Student Elections?

This is your opportunity to vote for the student officers who will be responsible for representing the whole student body. We have nominations for three full-time, paid Sabbatical positions - President, Vice President Education and Vice President Student Experience.  Candidates are also standing for the part-time, voluntary positions of International Students' Officer, RAG Officer, Representation Officer and Sustainability Officer.

Sadly, we have had no nominations for the positions of Diversity Officer, Mature Students' Officer and Chair of Student Council, so we will try again to attract interest in these roles after the current elections.

All students have the chance to vote for their chosen candidates, ranking them in order of preference.  You can also vote to re-open nominations (RON) if this is what you think should happen.  We want as many students as possible to have their say, so that we have confidence that the successful candidates have a genuine mandate to represent you.

Last year over 1,200 of you voted, but we're aiming for an even bigger turn out this time. Get into the Elections spirit and use your Vote to reach our 1,500 voter target!
