 What is Student Council? 

Student Council is made up of more than 30 student representatives, including:

• Executive Committee members
• Elected hall reps,
• Student group reps,
• Student Academic Reps (StARs)
• Postgradudate reps.

All of these representatives are known as Student Councillors. Any student can submit what's known as a motion to Student Council - a proposal about some kind of change which you think should happen.

Student Council meets 8 times during the year, so there are lots of chances for you to make a real difference if your motion is supported.
