Volunteering is a fantastic way to boost your skills, try a taster career, meet new people, work for a cause, for the local community, or simply to do something you love.
More and more employers are recognising that graduates with volunteering experience are more employable than those without, and with hundreds of opportunities available there is something there for everyone!

Volunteers are required to take young people out of the home and support them to access community based activites. this could be bowling, cinema etc whatever the preferred activitiy is. This promotes self esteem, confidence, help with the development of social skills and work towards growing independence as appriopriate, while providing a break for the family from the responsibility of caring.
Volunteers are also required to work on the Youth Groups we provide to young people with disabilites aged 12-18. Volunteers receive training, on-going support and regular supervision and all agreed out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
