All of the University of Worcester's sports teams and clubs are run by Worcester Students' Union. As well as offering a great social platform in which to meet students who share your sporting interests, many of these clubs and teams compete nationally against other universities as part of the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Leagues and Championships.

Each of our sports clubs have their own 'minisites' here on the website, so to find out more about any of the twenty-eight sports clubs or societies we currently have at Worcester simply click on the appropriate link below.

Joining a Sports Club

In Freshers Week we will be holding a Sports & societies Freshers Fair (Wednesday 21st Sept, sports Hall) at which you can meet the student committees adn current members of all of our sports clubs to find out more about their group. And if you are suitably enticed by their patter then you can also sign up and join on the day too.

If you can't make the Sports & Societies Freshers' Fair for any reason don't worry, you can now join all of our sports clubs online with the option to pay by card or by cash.To join any of the groups listed below you'll just need to go to www.worcsu.com/membership where once you have filled in your details you will be able to simply tick the clubs and societies you wish to join and then choose how you wish to pay. The online membership system will be open for new and returning members from September.

However, please note a lot of our clubs, particularly those who compete in BUCS leagues have trials for their teams so you would be advised to get in touch with the clubs themselves before committing to joining.
