Want to play American Football? Come join the Worcester Cardinals!

We will be running a stand during the Freshers' Fair, so come along and visit us. We will have players and coaches there to tell you all about the sport and what you can expect from the team. We will also have a couple of guys dressed up in pads and the kit just so you can see what it's actually like.

If you missed us in the Fair don’t fret you can still register with us, just pop us an email to worcester_cardinals@hotmail.co.uk and we can tell you what you need to do.

As we have just recently formed, we are not fully-fledged members of our league – the BCAFL. As such, we have to play a year as associates. This means that we get a whole year to train; then all we have to do is play two matches. This works out well as it means we get to put some serious training in, without the worry of league fixtures. After the Christmas holidays we will be playing friendlies with other teams that have just started up like The Gloucester Gladiators and The Bristol Barracudas; and the more established teams like The Birmingham Lions, Warwick Wolves, Oxford Cavaliers, Tarannau Aberystwyth and The Hereford Chargers.

Although we're new to the sport, we have the support of several experienced coaches and other teams. We have an experienced coaching team, including those who have coached Great Britain! We have the keen support of several surrounding universities and senior clubs who are all keen to help foster a new squad into this amazingly fast growing sport.

American Football is a new sport in Britain and is developing at an incredible rate. It offers positions for all kinds of people. So whether you are just interested in hitting people hard, running in touchdowns, organising things within the club or just want to come and support us, there is a place for you.
